CLUB HISTORY
2019
In May 2019, at the young age of 16, South East Supercar Club was formed. Fuelled by a profound enthusiasm for supercars, we embarked on a journey to bring together like-minded enthusiasts. The club's first event took place at Plumpton Pub, featuring a modest gathering of cars, as part of a cars and coffee gathering.
2020
On the 7th of March, our club experienced a significant milestone as we hosted our largest event to date at Lamborghini Tunbridge Wells. The gathering attracted an impressive turnout of approximately 80 cars, showcasing the diversity and passion within our community. However, our triumph was short-lived, as just two weeks later, the unfortunate circumstances of a lockdown compelled us to suspend our activities temporarily.
2021
Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, our club displayed resilience and adaptability as we forged ahead on a path of growth and normalcy. In July, we organised a one-night trip to the scenic Peak District, we also organised our second Moatlands event, significantly scaling up the event to accommodate an impressive convoy of 150 cars.
2022
We expanded our horizons and explored new territories. A significant milestone was achieved with our first club trip to Scotland. The renowned Moatlands event reached new heights as it attracted an impressive fleet of 250 cars. This remarkable turnout highlighted the increasing popularity of our club. We also successfully orchestrated our club trip to Spa with RMA in September, with over 30 cars participating.
2023
We went into 2023 with a new identity, we migrated from the SESC brand to our new ‘Apex Supercar Club’. As the club grows we felt it was necessary to move away from the localised ‘South-East’, and into a brand that gave us some more flexibility. We also introduced a paid membership to help grow the club even more along with launching our new app. We have multiple events lined up for 2024.
